The Show:
Nash Holos Ukrainian Roots Radio is a weekly bilingual (Ukrainian & English) variety program based in British Columbia, featuring contemporary and traditional Ukrainian music, interviews, cultural and historical insights, and other items of interest to the Ukrainian and Ukrainian‑Canadian communities.
Established in 1990, Nash Holos is the longest‑running Ukrainian radio program in the history of British Columbia, and the longest‑running Ukrainian program in Canada presented in English.
Featuring:
• Contemporary and traditional Ukrainian music by Canadian and international artists
• Interviews with authors, musicians, artists, dignitaries, academics, activists, war correspondents and other interesting personalities
• News from Ukraine
• Ukrainian Proverb of the Week
• Cultural and historical features such as Knyzhka Corner Book Reviews, Ukrainian Jewish Heritage, Ukrainian Food Flair and others over the years
