Doreen Pendgracs was born, raised and still resides in Manitoba, Canada. She has been a freelance writer since 1993 and has written dozens of magazine articles primarily in the areas of travel and lifestyle.
In 2008, she co-authored the “Manitoba Book of Everything,” happily sharing unknown bits of sophisticated trivia about her home province. A lifelong volunteer, in 2009 she wrote, Before You Say Yes … a Guide to the Pleasures and Pitfalls of Volunteer Boards. She is currently working on her next book, Chocolatour an enticing book about chocolate and travel.
