Nash Holos update to July 30, 2014

Many thanks to loyal Nash Holos listeners for your patience with delayed uploads of podcasts over the last little while. They’re up to date now… both the Vancouver and Nanaimo editions. So download to your heart’s content. 🙂

As well, you’ll find lots of audio archives of features airing on the show that provide unique insight and information about Ukrainian and Ukrainian Canadian culture, history and current affairs.

Several of the interviews conducted on the show this year are available on the 2014 Interviews page. The most recent are David Katcsma of Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival in Dauphin (taking place this year Aug. 1-3) and Lydia Wolanskij in Yaremche, Ukraine following the crash of MH17 in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Jewish Heritage is a weekly series highlighting the efforts to rebuild Ukraine’s Jewish community, and its role in Ukraine’s ongoing struggle with nation building. Stay tuned for more uploads here on the website and on YouTube. For a taste of what’s to come, check out the experimental one currently posted there.

Knyzhka Corner features book reviews of English language works on Ukrainian themes. Reviews by veteran reviewer Myra Junyk of Toronto.

Find them all under the Features tab on the menu bar.

Heads up … effective November 1, 2014, Nash Holos Vancouver will air on Saturdays at 6pm. You’ll get plenty of reminders closer to the day, but for now, keep that in mind if you need to make any adjustments to your routine.

Meanwhile, thanks again for your patience and loyalty. 🙂
